TV Portfolio

This is a compilation of some of the many TV features, trend pieces, profiles and reviews Michael Giltz has written for numerous publications. He watches an unhealthy amount of TV, but since he also reads piles of books, sees every movie, listens to countless albums and goes to any theater he can, it doesn’t seem so bad in context. Michael Giltz covered “American Idol” extensively in its first few seasons and via reviews and features he's championed shows such as “Deadwood,” “Malcolm In The Middle,” "24," “Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” “The Boondocks,” “Friday Night Lights,” “Gilmore Girls,” “Will & Grace,” “Battlestar Galactica,” and many others. While some kids grew up reading the box scores of baseball games, Michael Giltz studied the weekly Nielsen ratings and still gets excited about changes in the primetime schedule.
